And water-lovers have access to activities like boating, paddling, scuba diving, and fishing.

Pedernales Falls State Park is a 40-minute drive south of Marble Falls. Water activities include swimming, tubing, and fishing on the Pedernales River. You can also tour the LBJ Ranch adjacent to explore the president’s birthplace, ranch, and the family cemetery.

Blanco State Park is a popular destination for fishing in the Texas Hill Country, with largemouth bass, channel catfish, and rainbow trout populations.
